REFLEXOLOGY TRAINING
Are you committed to health and wellness? Are you interested in the prevention of illness? If the answer is yes, then why not try a career in Reflexology. Reflexology is a modality which is complementary to our current health care system. Comparable to massage therapists and chiropractors, Reflexology Therapists have their part to play in today’s health industry.
Reflexology is an ancient, non-invasive healing art that has been practiced for over 3,000 years. It works by applying pressure to the different reflexes in the feet and allows any part of the body to be stimulated via the nerve reflexes. Reflexology eases tension, reduces stress, improves blood and lymph circulation, assists in the elimination of toxins and strengthens the immune system by promoting the body’s natural healing processes.
In a health-conscious society, there is tremendous growth opportunity for Reflexology and for certified Reflexology Therapists. The Canadian population is desperately seeking new ways to not only treat and tolerate illness, but also ways to prevent illness. Reflexology is designed to, at the very least, bring about relaxation and help restore a sense of well-being. Assisting others in preventing illness could help reduce the pressure on Canada’s already overtaxed health-care system; as a Reflexology Therapist, you could be a part of that.
Once certified, a Reflexology Therapist can set up a practice at home, a spa, massage therapy clinic, etc. As a practitioner, Reflexology Therapists can earn between $40-$80/hour, depending on the location.
